MBG Tools Log Stock Report 2
A new log stock report was created to allow users to fully customize the Log Stock Report. The Log Stock Report 2 allows the user to enter different log dib classes for each species group in their forest inventory database, previously a single dib class definition was applied to all species groups. A specific set of commonly used dib classes can be set as the default so that the user does not need to enter in the same dib classes every time a database is opened. These default settings can be set so that they are different for each MBG Tools database. The user is walked through the process of entering the Species Group (as defined in the lkpSppCode Table of the database), the Class Label, the lower end dib and the upper end dib. The user can still calculate total volume based on gross acres, net acres, or user acres.
The final report shows the amount of TPA, QMD, and basal area by species group and the amount of gross and net board foot and cubic foot volumes by the user defined dib classes and species group, for each stand. Additionally, the total amount of gross and net board foot and cubic foot volumes are shown for each species group and the total volume in each stand.
